What happens to treatment after it is imported into Markwell?

After an import, the treatment appears in Markwell for review.

Staff work through Treatment Plans, starting with Action Required, and give each treatment plan a clear next step or outcome, such as Booked, Completed, a future follow-up, Long-Term Hold, Declined, or another appropriate outcome.

Treatment that still needs contact can then become part of the ongoing Follow-Ups workflow.

Good to know

Importing doesn’t contact the patient.
Importing doesn’t change anything in your practice-management system.
Previous Markwell history stays with the earlier imported record. Each import starts a new report.

What is Import Review?
Import Review is where you can go back and correct the treatment statuses that were set when a file was imported.
What does “Needs a destination” mean?
It means the treatment plan doesn’t yet have a clear next step or outcome.

History remembers. Each import starts a new report.
What is the Follow-Ups page?
Follow-Ups is your team’s daily contact workspace. It shows what’s overdue and what’s due today, across all your reports.
