What is the difference between a treatment status and a follow-up?
A treatment status tells you where the treatment currently stands. A follow-up tells the team when that treatment needs attention again.
Treatment statuses include Not Booked, In Progress, Booked, Preauth Pending and Completed.
A follow-up is a scheduled future date for the team to return to the treatment.
Good to know
- A treatment can stay Not Booked while it has a future follow-up.
- Due Today and Overdue describe the timing of a follow-up. They aren’t treatment statuses.
- When a treatment becomes Booked or Completed, it leaves the ordinary contact Follow-Ups workflow.
